Sewell introduced as next police commissioner

Mayor-elect Eric Adams made good on a campaign promise to appoint a woman as police commissioner. On Wednesday, he formally introduced Keechant Sewell as his pick. She is currently the chief of detectives in the Nassau County Police Department.
