The lottery prize ranks as the sixth largest in U.S. history, with the drawing set for Friday night. Recently, a player in California won a record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot.

It’s the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot for this year.

Raymond Roberts Sr. won the Massachusetts State Lottery's Lucky for Life game, which awards $25,000 a year for a minimum of 20 years. But he won the prize six times in one drawing after buying six tickets with the same numbers.

“Everyone was going insane,” Lori Janes shared. “People were getting their calculators out and double-checking. A couple of people even scanned the ticket on the lottery’s app, just to make sure.”

Brenda Gomez Hernandez of Concord, N.C., won the $100K Powerball on Nov. 9, the same day she delivered her daughter.

A Genesee County man checked his Powerball tickets while getting ready for work and discovered he won $150,000 from the Michigan Lottery.

‘Mr. Li’ claimed his multimillion-dollar prize in a yellow mascot costume, according to the Guangxi Welfare Lottery.
