NJ businessman agrees to cooperate in Menendez case

A New Jersey businessman has pleaded guilty to trying to bribe U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez admitting that he gave a car to the senator's wife to influence the lawmaker. Jose Uribe entered the plea in Manhattan federal court on Friday. Uribe was among three businessmen charged in the corruption case against the powerful New Jersey Democrat and his wife.

New York Community Bank under serious pressure
