NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The death of a former WWE star in her home on Long Island was ruled a suicide by hanging, according to TMZ Sports.
Ashley Massaro, 39, died on May 16 of 'non-criminal causes,' said Suffolk County Police.
In her last post to Twitter, Massaro wrote about answering fan mail. "Just answered a ton of fanmail so you guys should be receiving them soon! Love ya punx🤘🏼🖤"
Massaro performed in WWE from 2005-2008.
The mother of one was ten days shy of her 40th birthday when she took her life.
