Woman slashed in face in front of Apollo Theater

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A woman was slashed in the face by a random man as she walked by the Apollo Theater in Harlem and the attacker is still on the loose.

The NYPD says it happened Sunday at 8:20 a.m.  The 48-year-old woman was walking on 125th Street when individual approached her from behind and slashed her on the right side of her face with a sharp object.  The woman was taken to Harlem Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
