NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A Bronx woman is charged with reckless endangerment and several counts of assault after police say she set her pit bulls on a man following an argument.
Authorities say 55 year-old Cynthia Oliver, let go of her 2 leached pit bulls onto the unidentified 62 year-old man after fighting with him at about 9:40 a.m.. It happened in front of a church on Belmont Ave. and 187th Street.
The victim was left with a severed right ear and lacerations to his chest and arms. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
A 46-year-old who tried to intervene to get the dogs off of the victim suffered lacerations to his arms.
The dogs were put in the care of Animal Care and Control.
