Winter Jazzfest NYC

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - New York has always been a force in the world of jazz and from January 13 through January 17, you can experience some of the best in business performing all around the village.

Cellist Marika Hughes and her band Bottom Heavy take the stage this Friday as part of a long lineup of jazz musicians at New York City's 12th annual Winter Jazzfest.

With more than 120 groups featuring more than 600 musicians performing on 12 stages, this year's festival promises to satisfy jazz fans and professionals alike.
