WASHINGTON, D.C. - President-elect Donald Trump will soon be sworn into the White House on Inauguration Day for his second term as president of the United States.

Here's a look at when the inauguration is, what time it is and a schedule of key events:
When is Inauguration day 2025?
What we know:
The 60th Presidential Inauguration is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20. Monday is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday.

What time is the inauguration 2025?
The Swearing-In Ceremony is slated to start at 12 p.m.
All inaugural activities will commence on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol, including the inaugural swearing-in ceremony of Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and President-elect Donald Trump taking the Oaths of Office, followed by an inaugural address.
The traditional inaugural luncheon will follow.
The timeline for these events typically kicks off at 6 a.m. with security screening followed by musical performances around 9:30 a.m. and opening remarks at 11:30 a.m.

The official timing for all events has not been released. But as far as timing goes, at noon on January 20 Trump will take the oath of office – that’s dictated in the U.S. Constitution.

A "National Day of Action" is planned for to kick off in Washington, D.C., and other cities at 11 a.m. Organizers describe this as a "nationwide mobilization opposing Trump’s ultra-right, billionaire agenda."
