This OC high school homecoming proposal will melt your heart
ANAHEIM (FOX 11) - An invite to the Esperanza High School homecoming dance in Anaheim was captured on video—and the touching moment has been shared by thousands online.
The video, which was posted Sept. 25 on Twitter, shows a young man holding flowers and standing next to a giant pink banner that reads:
"April, it would be SWEEET if you went to HC with me."
The girl covers her mouth in shock and then jumps up to hug the boy and accept his bouquet, while the rest of the onlookers erupt into cheers and applause.
The students, Sean Boots and April Clark, both have Down syndrome, according to the OC register.
As of Monday, the 30-second video had been retweeted more than 45,000 times.
