Thirst for over-the-top milkshakes

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - At Black Tap Craft in SoHo, it says burgers and beer. But there is also a whole lot of sweetness being offered. Milkshakes, But not just any milkshakes. Unique, super-decadent shakes like the cotton candy, birthday cake and the cookie s'mores. They've recently become a hit on Instagram and people are lining up for them.

Customers are willing to wait outside even when it's 20 degrees. So, how do they make them? Well, every shake starts with icing to hold all the goodies that will be attached. Three shakes are always on the menu: the cotton candy, then there's the cookie, and I'm trying to sweet and salty. It has your five basic food groups: ice cream, peanut butter cups, M&Ms, whipped cream and chocolate-covered pretzels -- and it's pure heaven.

If you have a special request like the birthday cake milkshake, which has a piece of birthday cake on it, you call ahead. Each of these special creations is $15 and worth every penny.
