Police have arrested a man in connection with two sexual assaults in a Queens park.
The Daily News reported that police spotted the suspect drinking from a water fountain in Kissena Park in Flushing and noticed that he fit the description of the attacker.
According to police, the 30-year-old man was taken into custody.
He is arrested in connection with two attacks. The first occurred Tuesday night around 11 p.m. where the suspect demanded money from 32-year-old woman and raped her in the park.
Authorities say the suspect attacked a 17-year-old girl jogging in a different section of the park about a half hour later. Police say the suspect pulled the teen into a wooded area where he assaulted her.
Both victims were treated at hospitals and released.
Charges against the suspect are pending.
