A 5-year-old girl has died after being struck by a school bus in Spring Valley on Friday afternoon.

ROCKLAND COUNTY - A 5-year-old girl was fatally struck by a school bus Friday morning in Rockland County, New York, police said.

It happened at roughly 11:15 a.m. on South Madison Avenue near Hillman Place in Spring Valley.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

There is no word of any other injuries.
