McLaren split in half by tree in Dallas crash that kills 2
DALLAS - Two people are dead after a Dallas car crash that left a luxury sports car cut in half.
The crash happened on Monday afternoon just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Abrams Road and Royal Lane in the Lake Highlands area.
Investigators say a McLaren and a Toyota Corolla collided.
The McLaren hit a tree, splitting it in half and killing the two men inside.
They were identified as 29-year-old Cristobal Flores Espino and 31-year-old Robert Leroy Rocha.
The woman driving the Toyota was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police have not given details of what led up to the crash.
