Special menu items for NYC Pride

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Gay pride celebrations will take place all around the city this weekend. Some restaurants are choosing to celebrate with special menu items.

At Playa Betty's on the Upper West Side, the vibe is relaxed and the taco is king. So it only made sense to create the churro taco. Proceeds from it will be donated to the One Orlando Fund.

Five Napkin Burger is usually known for its mouthwatering burgers. But this weekend, try the special butterscotch and salted caramel cookie with vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce and rainbow sprinkles. CEO Robert Guarino said they will donate the proceeds from that dish to the One Orlando Fund.

Schmackary's is the place for a sweet treat. If you buy the fun fetti cookie, the cookies and cream cookie, the confetti Krispy treat or the fruit looped milkshake, you'll be donating to the Pulse Victims Fund.
