Seven shot at Riverside nightclub during 'Halloween Bash'

Seven people were shot at a Riverside, California nightclub early Monday at a Halloween party turned violent, police said.

On the department's Facebook page, police said that at 12:04 p.m., police and firefighters were called to the Sevilla Nighclub at 3252 Mission Inn Avenue. Riverside is about an hour away from Los Angeles.

Officers arrived and located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital, police said. Five more people arrived at local hospitals later to receive medical treatment for gunshot injuries suffered during the shooting at the nightclub, police said.

The club's calendar showed it was hosting a Halloween Bash on Saturday night.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and there are no other details available at this time.
