NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - The evacuations of screening checkpoints at LaGuardia Airport caused confusion and delays on Saturday morning. The airport tweeted out that Terminal B flights were disrupted because of the incident.
The screening checkpoints for Concourses A and B and the pre-security area adjacent to Concourses A and B were closed for more than an hour.
Airport officials did not release information on exact cause for the disruption but there were reports that a man made a bomb threat to an airline employee and was arrested.
Things got back to normal about 9:30 a.m. Concourses C and D were operating normally during the incident.
