Residual subway delays following power problem
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - An electrical problem at the MTA's rail control center in Manhattan led to system-wide delays on all the subways lines Wednesday afternoon.
The electrical problems started around 1 p.m. Some of the issues were resolved about an hour later, but problems persisted for a few hours.
The countdown clocks on lines that have them were not working.
No passengers were stranded, said spokesman Kevin Ortiz.
