Rape suspect stabbed, attacked by family dog before escaping victim's home: police

Detroit police are currently looking for a rape suspect on Detroit's west side.

Detroit police are looking for a man by the name of Kevin Price, as they say he's accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter.

We're told a woman came home and saw her daughter being sexually assaulted around 5 a.m. in the 15000 block of Marlowe Street. We're told the suspect took off running, and police have been looking for him since.

Before the suspect could get away, though, we're told the woman stabbed the suspect several times and that he was also attacked by the family dog. If you see the suspect, he will likely be injured.

Price is described as being around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 lbs. He has tattoos on his arms and neck, and was last seen wearing jeans and gray Jordans. Police believe he's likely within a mile of the victim's home, which is by the intersection of Fenkell and Hubbell avenues.

Police have set up a perimeter around the home and have the help of a K-9 unit. If you see Price or know of his whereabouts, you're asked to contact Detroit Police.

We're told the victim has been taken to the hospital to be checked out.
