NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Protestors gathered outside a building in the Bronx where two young girls died after a radiator exploded.
They said that the landlord of the Hunts Point apartment complex is "one of the worst in the city," who has often left residents living in squalor.
In early December, one-year-old Scylee Ambrose and two-year-old Ibanez Ambrose were killed when a valve blew off a radiator and filled their bedroom with scalding steam.
Officials said the building is a mixed-use facility that also houses homeless families.
According to the city's department of homeless services, the building had more than 60 open violations at the time of the explosion.
