Police seek sex assault suspect targeting teen girls on Facebook
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (FOX 11) - A teen sexual assault suspect who uses Facebook Messenger to lure much younger victims is on the loose and Riverside Police need your help to catch him.
Police say 18 to 20-year old Domingo Juan Andres of Riverside contacted young girls using social media platforms such as Facebook. Police say Andres also goes by the nickname "Junior."
Andres targeted at least two young girls using the Facebook Messenger instant messaging app, texting back and forth with each of them for several weeks before allegedly arranging to meet up with them, according to Riverside police.
Detectives report that Andres first assaulted a 12-year-old girl back in 2015 by raping her under a tree near the intersection of Woodbine Avenue and Grove Street in Riverside. Another attack took place in early 2016 where a 15-year old girl was sexually assaulted in a nearby park.
Domingo Andres remains at large. Police believe that there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
