Police deliver New Year's Eve baby

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Some police officers on Long Island spent New Year's Eve helping to deliver a baby.

Police got a 911 call at about 7:20 p.m. about a woman going into labor in her Elmont home.

Nassau County Police Officers Martucci, Smith, DiGregorio and Police Medic Ferrucci responded and delivered a baby girl

The 29-year-old woman and her baby daughter were transported to an area hospital.
