Postal worker stabbed to death in Harlem

A postal worker is dead after being stabbed to death while on the job. FOX 5 NY's Kendall Green has the latest from Harlem.

A person of interest is in custody after a postal service employee was stabbed to death while on the job in Harlem on Thursday, police said. 

The NYPD got the 911 call for an assault on Malcom X Boulevard and West 118th Street.

The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Lennox and West 118th. All the police activity was surrounded near Joe's Grocery. 

Police said the 36-year-old postal service employee was found with multiple stab wounds on his body inside the deli. 

The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating the killing and have not yet made an arrest.
