AT&T outage: When will service be fully restored?
If your cellphone is not working, you’re not alone. A major cellphone outage has disrupted service nationwide.
NEW YORK - Thousands in the NYC area dealt with cellular outages on AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Verizon, T-Mobile and other service providers, according to data from Downdetector.
AT&T, the country’s largest carrier, had more than 1,600 outages in New York City alone this morning. The outages, which began at approximately 3:30 a.m. ET, peaked at around 73,000 reported incidents nationwide.
AT&T confirmed the issues had been fixed just after 3 p.m., though the cause wasn’t immediately clear.
