One Film, One New York free movie screening
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - What quintessential New York film would you like to see? "Crooklyn," On the Town, Desperately Seeking Susan, The Wedding Banquet, or New York, New York"?
Working with New York City, New York Times chief film critic A.O. Scott and several celebrities like Hugh Jackman and Lavern Cox picked the five films New Yorkers can choose from. The winning movie will play on the same date at the same time at locations across the city.

The initiative is called One Film, One New York. The film will be shown on September 13 at public parks and independent theaters all across the city. The Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center is one of them. The best part about this is the tickets are free.
