NYPD: cop shoots suspect in Brooklyn
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police were attempting to pull over a vehicle in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon when the driver fled the scene, according to police.
Cops caught up with the driver in Crown Heights after the vehicle was involved in a collision.
The driver then took out a gun, according to police. The responding officer fired and struck the suspect, said NYPD officials.
The driver was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was expected to survive.
