Cops wrangle snake on West Village street
A snake was found slithering in the West Village on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
WEST VILLAGE - A snake was found slithering on the streets in the West Village on Sunday.
It was seen across Washington and 12th streets.
Officers were able to gather the three-foot serpent in a plastic container.
They brought it to an animal care center.
Investigators are trying to figure out where it came from.
