NEW YORK CITY - Thursday was considered the coldest day across New York City since earlier this spring.
Freeze warnings were in effect until 9 a.m. for much of New Jersey, as well as parts of New York and Connecticut.
Temperatures ranged from the mid to low-30s for parts of the region, a big difference from the same time Wednesday.
For the weekend, the tri-state area is expected to see mild temperatures, but conditions will finally remain dry.
