NYC crime: Man stabbed in stomach inside Midtown Target

The NYPD is investigating a stabbing inside a Manhattan Target store in Herald Square.

MIDTOWN - A 33-year-old man has been stabbed in the stomach inside a Target on 34th Street in Midtown.

It happened just before 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Police did not give details about the suspect or what led up to the stabbing.

The victim was taken to the Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
