NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - All New York City Parks Department beaches will be closed to swimming through at least Wednesday due to Post-Tropical Storm Hermine.
Visitors are allowed onto the beach, but will not be permitted into the water.
This year, the beach and pool season in NYC runs through Sept. 11.
Bridge closures and other measures could also be ordered as the storm evolves.
