New music studio open to local youth
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - A high-end music studio is the latest iteration of B.R.A.G., a group that takes a public health approach to curing gun violence. Fox 5 was there for the ribbon-cutting.
Bronx Rising Against Gun Violence thrives off engaging young people on the streets and directing their energy to positive outlets.
Council Member Fernando Cabrera was able to direct $75,000 in discretionary funding to the group, which falls under Good Shepard Services, a nonprofit with more than 80 programs city wide that serve around 30,000 youth and families a year.
