Mugger kicks, punches victim in Harlem

Disturbing surveillance video of a woman mugged in Harlem has been released by police.

Cops are hoping someone recognizes the brutal assailant and helps them catch him.

In the video, a man is seen throwing a woman onto the sidewalk, kicking and punching her in front of 208 West 138 St.

Police say the man stole the woman’s purse and iPhone before running off along W 138th St.

The attack on the 24-year-old woman happened at about 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, August. 2.

Police describe the mugger as black, with brown eyes, black hair. He is in his late teens to early 20s.
