Mom killed, son, 6, critically injured in crash

Shaena Sinclair, 33, and her son Jayvon were waiting for the bus at the corner of Remsen and Seaview Avenues when they were struck by a vehicle. The woman was killed. The boy was in critical but stable condition.

A mother was killed and her six-year-old son was critically injured when a car jumped the curb at a bus stop in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

Shaena Sinclair, 33, and her son Jayvon were waiting at the corner of Remsen and Seaview Avenues when they were struck by the vehicle at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

A Honda Accord was trying to make a left turn onto Remsen Avenue when it was hit by a  Toyota 4Runner, according to police. Both vehicles had green lights at the time of the collision.

An investigation was underway.

The boy was listed in critical, but stable condition at Brookdale Hospital
