Missing boy, 3, found dead in NJ

HADDON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a missing 3-year-old boy was found dead in a wooded area several blocks from his southern New Jersey home. Camden County prosecutor's spokesman Andy McNeil says the boy was reported missing from his Haddon Township home about 6 a.m. Tuesday.

His body was found around 9 a.m. by a police dog off of South Park Drive.

His name has not been released.

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to learn how he died.

The incident remains under investigation.

Several blocks of the middle-class neighborhood are cordoned off. Shocked neighbors can be seen gathering on porches hugging each other.
