NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - A McDonald's employee was stabbed and killed in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant on Broadway and 236th St. in the Bronx.
The NYPD says the employee and another person got into an argument early Monday morning. The attacker, who police believe is homeless, was escorted out of the store by Garcia but returned and stabbed the employee multiple times in the chest and in the neck.
Adam Garcia, 28, of the Bronx, was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
No arrests had been made. An investigation was underway.
The suspect was described as a male, Hispanic, in his mid-30s and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
A source told FOX 5 News the attacker may have visited the restaurant several times earlier in the day.
The McDonald's was closed Monday following the stabbing.
