Man under arrest escapes from police

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The NYPD is asking for the public's help tracking down a prisoner who escaped during an arrest Tuesday night.

Cops were at the Queensbridge Houses at about 9:30 p.m. when one of the individuals they were arresting on drug-related offenses fled the scene.

A photo of Mohamed Saleh, 32, was released by police.

Anyone with information about Saleh that could help capture him is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
