Man randomly assaults woman in the East Village: NYPD
NEW YORK - The NYPD is searching for a man that they say randomly assaulted a woman in the East Village on Friday.
According to authorities, at around 10:40 a.m., the man approached a 70-year-old woman on East 14th Street and hit her in the head with an unknown object.
The woman fell to the ground and he ran away. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition with an abrasion to her wrist and elbow.
