NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police in New York were investigating the death of a man who was found on a Manhattan subway platform.
It happened about 8:45 a.m. on the Q train platform at Herald Square. That stop is busy with rush hour commuters at that time of day.
Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man on the northbound platform. Police found the man unresponsive on the ground.
EMS responded but the man was already dead. The medical examiner will determine the cause death and the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
