Man brutally beaten in subway station
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police in New York City are looking for two men in connection with a brutal attack on a subway platform in Queens.
The NYPD says the attack happened on Sunday at about 10:30 p.m. Two men approached a 22-year-old man on the "E" train platform at the Roosevelt Avenue subway station. They punched him and kicking him in the face, fracturing the victim's jaw. they then jumped on a Manhattan bound "E" train.
The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where he required surgery.
Police released photos and descriptions of the men they are looking for:
One is black, approximately 16 to 20 years old, and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. The second is black, approximately 16 to 20 years old, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
