Man arrested in attempted kidnapping of boy in stroller

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A tip from the public helped the NYPD nab the man who attempted to kidnap a three-year-old boy in Brooklyn while he was in his stroller, said police.

The arrest took place just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday in the Bath Beach section of the borough.

On May 7, just before 4 p.m., the boy's grandmother was pushing the stroller along 86th Street when the suspect grabbed the stroller and walked off.  

The incident was captured on security camera video.

The grandmother is seen catching up to the man but he then takes off without the stroller.
