Makeup artist uses her own face as a canvas

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Through hours of painstaking work, makeup artist Lisa Houghton transformed her face into a replica of the Mona Lisa that would even make Da Vinci proud.

After years working with supermodels and celebrities like Karie Kloss, Lily Aldeidge, Taykor Swift, Cameron Diaz and more, Houghton has created looks that have graced covers of magazines around the world.

And as she documented her artistry on Instagram, her masterpieces took off. Though, unlike other artists, Houghton's work is ephemeral, lasting only until she washes her face.
