Long Island Expressway accident causes major morning delays l LIVE traffic maps

LONG ISLAND - An accident on the Long Island Expressway caused major delays on Wednesday during the morning rush hour commute.

In a post on X, formally Twitter, NYPD Highway said: "Due to a collision investigation, please avoid the west bound LIE at the Clearview Exp. Expect closures in the area."

SkyFOX was over the scene, where all the traffic westbound was seen being diverted onto the service road.
