Large water main break floods streets in the Bronx
Bronx water main break leaves homes flooded
A massive water main break in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx turned roads into rivers, flooding homes, businesses, and leaving residents devastated just days before the holidays. FOX 5's Richard Giacovas has the story.
NEW YORK - A burst water main on Webster Avenue, near the Mosholu Parkway, flooded streets on Monday evening in the Bronx.
The flooding in Bedford Park inundated multiple cars that were parked nearby. Train tracks were also impacted.
As a result, Webster Avenue was closed from East 204th Street to Bedford Park Boulevard as crews continued to work to fix the situation.

In a post on X, formally Twitter, the NYC Emergency Management said: FDNY operations have concluded. DEP has identified the source of the leak as a 48-inch main break and will now commence repairs.
No injuries were reported.
