Kim Kardashian West return to social media short lived

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - After nearly a month off social media, reality TV star Kim Kardashian West returned to Facebook, but apparently it was short lived.

On Monday, Kardashian West posted a photo of herself in a chair looking at her iPhone with her favorite phone cover. The caption read: “Downtime #LumeeCollab.”

Also in the photo, the 36-year-old mother of two and wife of rapper Kanye West, is holding a BlackBerry on her lap.

What is not in the photo is equally telling: jewelry.

But by late Tuesday morning, the post and two accompanying posts had been removed.

The other posts included links to her website with last-minute costume ideas. Kardashian West wrote: "Love these old videos!"

In place of the posts was the message from Facebook:

"This Facebook post is no longer available. It may have been removed or the privacy settings of the post may have changed."

On Oct. 3, Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint of millions of dollars worth of jewelry while in her hote room in Paris.

Several members of Kardashian's family have said she was not doing well after the robbery.
