K-Pop stars BTS attend U.N. meeting
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - The K-Pop super group BTS made a presentation at the United Nations in New York on Monday. There were there to attend the launch of Generation Unlimited, a global partnership by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The program is "dedicated to increasing opportunities and investments for children and young people aged 10 to 24," according to the UN organization's website.
BTS will be in concert at Newark's Prudential Center on Sept. 28 and 29. They will be back in the area to perform at Citi Field in Queens on Oct. 6.
