NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A Jennifer Lopez concert at Madison Square Garden was canceled due to the widespread power outage that hit Manhattan on Saturday night. The famed concert hall plunged into darkness after about four songs by the star.
She tweeted that she was "devastated and heartbroken" at having to cancel the show. She promised to "make this up to you, I promise!"
In a press release, Lopez announced that Saturday's concert has been rescheduled for Monday, July 15 at 8 p.m. People who went to Saturday's show are encouraged to hold on to their original tickets, as tickets will be honored for the newly-rescheduled performance date.
