NEW YORK (FOX5 NY) - Ramen enthusiasts hit the streets of Manhattan Sunday to celebrate the Japanese Fall Festival.
The two-day event kick started its annual block fair and celebrated the Japanese culture and food.
Japan Fes’ goal is to “inject a lively and vibrant aspect of Japanese culture into the New York experience,” and they did just that!
Sunday’s events included a Ramen competition where people vote on the best bowl as well as shopping and trying out food from featured vendors.
For those who were not able to make it on Sunday’s Upper West Side block fair, no worries because Japan Fes goes on for a second day on Monday in their Midtown Manhattan location, 4 West 43rd street from 11am-9pm.
There, visitors are able to feast on different food vendors and shop until they drop with the Japanese culture.
