Hunt for subway pervert

Police in New York are looking for a man accused of several public lewdness incidents on the subway.

The NYPD says the most recent incident happened on Octover 3, 2017 at about 9:45 a.m. on a Northbound "E" train.  It happened at the Lexington Ave. 53rd Street station.

Police say that Robert Mannis sat across from a 23-year-old woman.  The victim says he masturbated as he stared at her.  He also took picutres of her with his phone before getting off of the train.

One day earlier, at the Herald Square 34th Street Station Mannis is accused of masterbating in front of a 27-year-old woman on the northbound platform of the B/D/F/M line.

Mannis is described as 61-years-old, 5'3", 200 lbs., black goatee.  He was last seen wearing a black winter cap, a blue polo shirt, dark colored pants and he carried a black backpack.

Police ask that anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Police say that all calls are strictly confidential.
