HCSO: Shoplifter stole from Bass Pro Shops with puppy in hand
TAMPA, Fla. - The owner of a small puppy was caught stealing from Bass Pro Shops with the small accomplice in hand on Thursday morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The shoplifter was arrested for petit theft and possession of meth.
Deputies cared for the puppy before handing him over to Hillsborough County Animal Services, which will keep the dog until his owner is released from jail.
