Goodbye Halloween, hello Christmas at Disney

Now that Halloween is over, Walt Disney World is decorating for the holidays.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween celebration decorations are coming down and the very merry decorations for the Christmas holidays are going up.

The holidays at the Magic Kingdom officially begin on November 9 with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which runs at night on dates throughout November and December.

The castle will be lit up in icicles for "A Frozen Holiday Wish," and there will be holiday fireworks along with the Christmastime Parade.

The other parks are also getting decked out for the holidays. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM Holiday Dessert Party begins at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which runs nightly from Nov. 9 - December 31.
