A Good Samaritan helped rescue a driver after the car plunged into the water in Freeport, Long Island.
FREEPORT, N.Y. - A good Samaritan helped rescue a driver after a car went into the water on Long Island on Tuesday.
It happened at Gordon Place in Freeport around 9:30 a.m.
The driver was taken to a hospital but in stable condition.
Officials say no one else was in the car.
It is unclear why the driver ended up in the water.
